Working principle of air suspension
The system monitors the vehicle height in real time based on the height sensor. When the vehicle height changes, it can automatically inflate or deflate the spring airbag according to a certain algorithm, so that the vehicle body is maintained at the set height and the air spring is in the best working state. In the process of raising and lowering the vehicle body, the air spring has different expansion and contraction processes.
① When the number of passengers or the load weight of the vehicle increases during the process of raising the vehicle body (suspension extension), the vehicle body height decreases. The control unit detects the decrease in vehicle body height through the sensor, opens the lifting valve, and compressed air enters the air spring through the solenoid valve. As the air pressure of the air spring increases, the vehicle body also rises. During the inflation process, the control unit monitors the height in real time. When the height returns to the set value, the solenoid valve is closed. At this time, the height control valve is in a balanced state to ensure that the height of the vehicle is maintained at a certain value.
② When the number of passengers or the load weight of the car decreases during the process of lowering the car body (suspension compression), the height of the car body rises. The control unit detects the increase in the height of the car body through the sensor, opens the lowering valve, and the air in the spring is discharged through the solenoid valve. As the air pressure of the air spring decreases, the car body also drops. During the deflation process, the control unit monitors the height in real time. When the height returns to the set value, the solenoid valve is closed. At this time, the height control valve is in a balanced state to ensure that the height of the car is maintained at a certain value.
Composition of air suspension system
The air suspension system mainly consists of the following parts:
Air compressor: used to generate compressed air to provide power for the system.
Accumulator: stores compressed air to ensure that the system can respond quickly when needed.
Control unit: receives signals from the sensor, issues instructions after calculation, and adjusts the hardness of the air spring and the damping of the shock absorber.
Vehicle height sensor: detects the current height information of the vehicle and transmits it to the control unit.
Acceleration sensor: includes body acceleration sensors in different directions and air spring extension acceleration sensors, which are used to sense dynamic changes of the vehicle.
Air spring: replaces the traditional metal spring, and adjusts the air pressure to change its hardness and length, thereby adjusting the suspension.
