In the power steering system, the power steering oil is a medium oil filled in the power steering system, which plays the role of transmitting steering force and buffering. The role of the power steering oil pipe is to transport these power steering oils.
If the power steering oil pipe leaks or the power steering oil is not replaced for a long time, the steering wheel will feel heavy when driving, and there may be abnormal noises. In more serious cases, the power steering system will be damaged. It is recommended that car owners regularly check the power steering system and replace the power steering oil. It should be noted that improper driving can also cause oil leakage in the oil pipe, such as turning the steering wheel to the end, and when the steering is turned to the end, the pressure of the power steering oil pipe will increase, and each oil pipe interface (rubber parts) may leak oil.
There are probably three possibilities for frequent oil leakage in the power steering high-pressure oil pipe:
